Leigh and his team worked on our double storey extension, along with extensive internal modifications. The project was completed to a high standard and on budget. Leigh and his team are very considerate builders, who were willing to go the extra mile to get the work done to our specification.  

I have recently had work carried out by J.L Smallshaw. This involved an extension and full renovations of an old property. Throughout the build we encountered many unforeseen problems with building which understandably led us to overrun - these were discussed and additional costs agreed. I found these costs to be good value and a fair representation of the work and materials involved. The site was kept secure and tidy during the build and we found employees to be trustworthy and helpful. Some of the employees often offered good advise on design and materials. They also ensured that other companies who I employed during the build to carry out additional work such as flooring and kitchen fitting maintained the standard of the new build.

Over the last twenty years or so Mr Smallshaw has carried out works on our behalf as a sub-contractor to our business on swimming pool build, alterations and related works. Currently he works jointly with us as a co-ordinator on various pool projects. He also installed our own swimming pool at home and has built an extension to our house. His work has always been carried out professionally and to a high standard. He has been helpful and cooperative in fitting in with our plans. Any snagging that has been necessary has been carried out promptly and satisfactorily. We have no problem recommending Mr Smallshaw for all aspects of building work.

I have known this firm for a number of years, and have always found them to be hard working and honest.Their workmanship is of high quality, they invariably pay great attention to keeping their sites in a tidy condition and are a pleasure to deal with.
